Dear Wilma & All:

I got a nice long letter from you yesterday and I really like to get those. Also got a letter from Lena and Mary. I guess except for Neva the family is all close together now. I had a letter from her not long ago but she never writes much.

I guess if Claude isn’t there yet you are expecting him most any day. I haven’t heard from him for almost a year. I don’t even know his address anymore. I never did answer Ruth’s last letter either. I should have a long time ago but I keep putting it off.

I got the papers OK. They don’t come in very often but I don’t miss them much because it seems like I don’t know many people around there anymore. I think I got all my Xmas packages. I got most of them about a month early which was good. I have some more picture taken and I’ll send some of them to you.

Aline send me a roll of film pretty often or at least every time she can find one. Getting them developed is our main problem now.

They have loosened up a little on the censoring here now and we can tell approximately where we are. I’m in the Kwajalein Atoll of the Marshall islands. I can’t say exactly which Island though so I guess you don’t know much more than you did.

I’ve got to stop now Wilma. I have to go to sick bay this morning and get a spot of fungus on my foot doctored. The guys here have all been out over a year and the sick call line is pretty long. I sure will be glad when I can get back in a health climate again.

Write every chance you get.

Love
Elmer
