Dear Wilma:

I got yours of Dads letters today and also the picture of Mom & Dad. It is really a nice picture and I’m glad you have another one there for me because we are never very sure of our belonging out here.

You can never tell when they may all be lost. You can send the other one to Aline to keep for me if you want too and my picture we had taken at Holdin too. It should be there some where.

I sure hope everybody don’t confiscate all the pictures Mom had there because I don’t have any with me and I sure would like to have some of them to keep when I get back. I don’t know yet what to do about the ?ands in fact I don’t even know how many I have I don’t think there’s very many so if they’re …. just leave them there in the bank till I can decide what to do.

I guess I won’t get to come home. I would really like to before Dad has the sale but I guess it’s just impossible.

I don’t know where to send this. I guess I send it to hope because if you’re not there you probably will be before long. Just you and Aline are the only persons I have had letters from for a long time now.

I don’t think there has ever been a day that mail has come in that I haven’t had a letter from Aline. I don’t get to write her every day but that doesn’t keep her from writing. And believe me those letters really mean a lot too.

Write when you can.

Love
Elmer
