Dear Wilma & All:

I got your letter today that you wrote the 19th and I’m really glad to get them.

I guess I haven’t did much writing recently but we’ve been fairly busy.

That don’t worry me about Tom & Lena sending the letter I wrote. I don’t remember exactly what was in it, but it must have been what I thought and they’ve had a pretty good idea what that was a long time ago. I don’t feel as if I owe them anything.

I guess what I am out here for is so they and everybody can worship and do as they want. I has a letter from Lena a few days ago although it was rather short and also a xate from Neva she didn’t say much as usual too.

Iansxxx Mary’s last letter soon after I got it. I enjoy her letters a lot because she tells me about kids around home that I know. I guess I had better write her again right away it seems like she xxxly didn’t get my last letter.

I’ve heard from Claude once and that was a long time ago I heard from Ruth quite regularly for a while but then I think I forgot to answer one of her letters.

I got a Xmas card from she and Claud a couple of days ago so I guess I better write her again too.

I read Moms last letter over several times too trying to find something she might have thought, but I guess it all came on unexpected. I guess the family will keep drifting farther apart now with no place they can all call home. I don’t know for sure yet what I will do when I get out of the Navy. I guess Aline will help me decide that. As far her Xmas present, I hope you didn’t worry about that. I told her you were getting it and I know how busy you have been. She went home for Xmas I think she said she wrote you that .I think she is going to stay awhile too.

I’ve just about wrote out Wilma. I’m glad the sale is over with and you can maybe catch up on a little of your rest I can imagine what a job it was getting every thing ready.

We had a fairly good Xmas here and our chow that day was good but I hope I never have to spend another one out here.

I think you asked me in my last letter if I had moved. I haven’t. Then just changed the name of the outfit a little CASU(F) stands for Combat Aircraft Service Unit and I think the F means forward area or something.

That is the reason for our censorship regulations being so strict. We are a mobile outfit and subject to move on any short notice.

PS. What picture did you give the time of man uniform. I’ll send you the information later about when I entered the service.
