According to the birth date of Roger taken from the IGI, he would have
been only 12 years old at the time of his marriage.
The marriage date given is the same from both the IGI and Appleton.
Rogers widow Joane married Marcus Brian of Menton, a Neighboring
parish on 10 Jan. 1611.
Roger Sumner had a brother William, who died at Bicester in 1597.
