Thurs Morn

Dear Wilma and Bill:

I know I’m a little slow about writing but I’ve been trying to find out when I leave before I wrote you.

I was supposed to leave this morning but they didn’t know whwere to send us. All I know is that I’m going to the Pacific Fleet sometime soon.

All I hope it is in the south because its getting awfully cold here now.

Maybe if I go to the west coast I will go through K.C. and I can call you maybe the train will be on time this time.

Well, I’ve got a lot more letters to write so I’ll hafta quit.

Love
Elmer
